HKLIfe meets and exceeds the WHO’s A.S.S.U.R.E.D. guidelines by adding on an extra M for multiplex. BioRadar System offers a fast diagnosis, rapid detection of antimicrobial resistance, a broad detection panel and cost reduction solution. The BioRadar detects a wide range of pathogens, antimicrobial resistance genes and host immune status simultaneously. The BioRadar System is an inexpensive and simple to use diagnostic tool designed for both developed and developing markets. The BioRadar can detect pathogens within 1 hour, outbreak surveillance and monitoring of biological threats are now possible.
The BioRadar System consists of two parts, the BioRadar and the EFADchip®. The consumable EFADchip® is processed and analyzed by the BioRadar - G Series. The first field is the diagnosis of infectious disease and the EFADchip® Pneumonia is expected to be market ready by the first quarter of 2019.
BioRadar – G Series
The BioRadar System can be further extended to capture other molecules such as proteins, carbohydrates, lipids and metabolites (P, C, L and M Series, respectively). The first BioRadar marketed is the BioRadar - G Series, for the detection of genes. The BioRadar - G Series is a fully automated modular system consisting of: barcode reader, cartridge loading unit, sample preparation unit, microfluidics, robotics, electric field generator, thermal control unit, image capturing unit and data processing unit. The BioRadar - G Series offers affordable sample to answer molecular detection, with minimal requirements on operators, in either knowledge or hands on time. HKLife is applying for CE-IVD mark and ISO certification for BioRadar - G Series. An advanced molecular biological hybridization technique is used for all determinations. The BioRadar - G Series offers complete, user friendly and cost-effective diagnosis.
